Founded in 2020 by Kamal Reggad and Karim Nadi, RemotePass provides solutions for businesses to manage, onboard, and pay employees without the need for a local legal presence.
Their services cater to both startups and large enterprises, such as Logitech, and extend to over 150 countries. The platform facilitates the hiring of contractors and full-time employees, offering features like financial services for remote workers, multiple payout options, a USD debit card, and premium health insurance.
With the newly secured funds, RemotePass plans to focus on expanding its presence in the Saudi market by enhancing its enterprise-ready product and onboarding more companies in the region.
The startup, which initially began as SafarPass to streamline business travel and expense management, has rapidly grown its service offerings to meet the needs of the global remote workforce.
This Series A funding follows a previous round in 2021, led by BECO Capital with contributions from Wamda, Khawarizmi VC, Flat6Labs, Wealth Well, and a Saudi investor syndicate.
