Uber launches yacht services in 6 European cities ahead of peak summer travel
This summer, Uber will launch a variety of amazing nautical experiences, including the most opulent offering on our app. Following our successful introduction in Europe's party capital last year, Uber Yacht will come to the shores of Ibiza in August, providing clients with an affordable way to travel in ultimate elegance.

As millions of people around the world, including UAE residents, plan to go to Europe, Uber announced Wednesday that it will introduce 'Uber Yacht' services in six cities across the continent. The American ride-sharing business announced in a statement that it will launch yacht services in Ibiza, Venice, Athens, Paris, Corfu, and Santorini.
The service also allows travelers to reserve a private yacht for the day simply through the Uber app. Uber Yacht will allow groups of up to eight people to sail around Ibiza on a Sunseeker Yacht for only €200 (Dh792.4) per person. Each eight-hour tour includes a skipper, a complimentary bottle of beverages, and locally selected artisan snacks.
Anabel Diaz, Vice President of EMEA Mobility at Uber, said, "At Uber, we want our customers to go anywhere, wherever they are traveling. This summer, we are adding a series of bucket-list-worthy nautical experiences to the Uber app in some of Europe's hottest destinations, helping holidaymakers make the most of their trip on the high seas."
Anabel said, "Whether sailing around Ibiza in your private yacht or experiencing the Venetian Lagoon by boat, we're thrilled to add some Uber magic to our customers' holidays this summer."Uber Yacht will be available for pre-booking via Uber Reserve in Ibiza starting July 26, requiring a minimum of 24 hours' notice, and will be available throughout August.
Additionally, in July, Uber will launch a first-of-its-kind water transportation service in Venice. Customers can use the app to request an on-demand Limo Boat to go around the Venetian Lagoon. The service, which can accommodate up to six passengers and runs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day, starts at €120 (Dh475.5) per trip. Later in July, Uber Boat will expand its service from Mykonos to Athens, Corfu, and Santorini.
This summer, visitors to Paris can take an Uber Cruise, a free one-hour private cruise along the Seine in an all-electric boat. According to data from summer 2023, foreign demand for Uber's mobility services surged by up to 55% last year in countries such as Greece and Spain, the business stated.
